  • Rolled oats 150 g
  • Crunchy peanut butter 80 g
  • Vanilla essence 1 tsp
  • Golden syrup 1 tbs
  • Raspberry jam 60 g
  • Dark chocolate 20 g
Step 1

Start making the oat bars by adding the oats, peanut butter, vanilla essence and golden syrup into a small bowl.

Step 2

Make sure to hydrate all the oats so as to make it easy use your hand. Massage the golden syrup and peanut butter evenly into the batter.

Step 3

Take a square container, line it with baking paper and add in half the oat mix. Press it down firmly then add the jam on top. Cover it with the other half of the oat mixture press it down again to even out the top. Place it in the fridge to chill for an hour.

Step 4

Once the hour is up take the oat bars out of the fridge. Take a small bowl add the chocolate into it and microwave it for 2-3 minutes. Make sure to microwave for 30 seconds, give it a stir then repeat until the chocolate is fully melted. Pour the chocolate into a lunch bag, cut the corner out and drizzle some heavenly good chocolate over the oat bars.
