Oven Baked Doughnuts

- Plain flour 120 oz
- Caster sugar 70 hfl
- Baking powder 1 tsp
- Salt 1 pin
- Butter 28 g
- Egg 1 med
- Milk 100 ml
- Vanilla essence 2 tsp
- Icing sugar 100 g
- Milk 2 tbs
- Vanilla extract 1 dzl
- Food colouring of your choice 1 tbs
Combine the dry ingredients -flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. In a separate bowl combine the wet ingredients- melted butter, milk, vanilla essence, and the egg.
Mix the wet ingredients together with the dry ingredients making sure you're not leaving dry flour bits in the batter.
Preheat the oven to 180 Celsius degrees. Take a silicone doughnut tray spray it with non-stick spray and set it aside.
Take a piping bag place it into a large cup and start adding the batter into the bag. This will help to evenly portion out the batter.
Bake the doughnuts for 11 minutes. Let them cool in the tray then remove them and place them on a wire rack to decorate.
Combine the icing sugar, vanilla essence, and milk together. Once lump free pour it over the doughnuts using a spoon to control the pour. Decorate it with some sprinkles and let it dry.
