Crispy Calamari

- Calamari 1 lge
- Plain flour 2 tbs
- Salt 1 pin
- Smoked paprika 1 tsp
- Garlic powder 1 tsp
- Vegetable oil 200 ml
- Greek yoghurt 1 tbs
- Mayo 1 tbs
- Lemon juice 1 tbs
- Salt 1 pin
- Chives 1 tbs
Step 1
Cut up the calamari into 1cm thick slices.
Step 2
Take a bowl add in the flour, smoked paprika, garlic powder and salt. Give it a good mix then roll the calamari into the flour mix.
Step 3
Take a saucepan add in the oil and start heating the oil on a low heat.
Step 4
Once the oil is hot enough add in the calamari. Fry both sides for about 2-3 minutes.
Step 5
Once the calamaries are golden brown remove them from the oil. Place them on a paper towel to get rid of the excess oil.
Step 6
Take a small bowl add in the Greek yoghurt, mayo, salt and fresh lemon juice.
Step 7
Serve the calamari with a wedge of lemon and the sauce on the side.
