  • Spicy sausage 5 med
  • Basmati rice 200 hfl
  • Pepper 1 lge
  • Stir in sundried tomato sauce 1 can
  • Onion 1 med
  • Tomato paste 2 tbs
  • Water 500 ml
  • Smoked paprika 1 tbs
  • Vegetable oil 3 tbs
  • Salt 1 tbs
  • Paprika 1 tbs
  • Black pepper 1 tbs
Step 1

Start by chopping the sausage into bite-sized chunks. Take a large frying pan add in the vegetable oil and the sausages. Fry on medium heat until brown. Remove them from the pan and set the aside.

Step 2

Chop the onions finely then add them back into the same pan. Fry until soft on low heat for about 3-4 minutes. Next, add in the peppers and saute for another 3-4 minutes. Add int the spices next and fry until fragrant. Follow by adding in the sundried tomato sauce, rice and water.

Step 3

Cook on low heat until the rice absorbs all the water. If the rice is still kind of hard add in another drop of water. Keep stirring to avoid burning down. Add the sausage back in to heat through. Enjoy warm with a teaspoon of yoghurt.
