Air Fryer Falafel Bites

- Dried chickpea 250 oz
- Onion 3 tbs
- Chickpea flour 1 tbs
- Garlic 2 clv
- Fresh parsley 1 hfl
- Fresh coriander 1 hfl
- Salt 1 tsp
- Pepper 1 tsp
- Cayenne pepper 1 tsp
- Smoked paprika 1 tsp
- Vegetable oil 2 tbs
Step 1
Soak the dried chickpeas the night before in cold water. Next day drain the water and add all ingredients to a food blender. Blend it until the batter is smooth but still chunky, you don't want it to be mushy.
Step 2
Shape the batter into 10 equal-sized balls. Place them in the air fryer and spray them with vegetable oil. Bake them for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown at 250 Celsius degrees. Alternatively use a pan and slightly flatten them for a more even cooking.
