  • Pork meat 600 g
  • Rice 450 g
  • Diced Onions 2 med
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Black pepper 1 tsp
  • Frozen Vegetable Mix 200 g
  • Olive oil 3 tbs
  • Vegetable broth 800 g
  • Thyme 0.5 tsp
Step 1

Take the pork and cut it in chunks then boil in a pot of water. You would use enough water to cover the pork.

Step 2

While the meat is cooking, wash and strain the rice with cold water until the water is clear. Finely chop the onion. Heat the olive oil in a pan and add the onions.

Step 3

Fry until soft, add the rice and fry for a few minutes until the rice gets translucent. Season with salt, pepper and thyme. Remove from the heat.

Step 4

Drain the meat and put them in a baking dish. Add the rice, frozen vegetables, pour in the vegetable broth and stir.

Step 5

Preheat oven to 180 degrees and put the pork meat with rice and vegetables. Bake for about 25 minutes until the rice is fully cooked.
