  • Cheese of Choice 400 g
  • Melted Unsalted Butter 50 g
  • Vegetable Oil 80 g
  • Plain White Flour 500 g
  • Yogurt 300 g
  • Baking Soda 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Egg 1 med
Step 1

Combine the baking soda, salt, and yogurt in a bowl and mix. Then grate the cheese, the recipe works well with any type of yellow cheese, Cheddar, American cheese or even feta and you may combine a few kinds of cheese also!

Step 2

Combine the cheese, yogurt and start incorporating the flour, until you get a soft non-sticky dough. Divide the dough into 4-6 balls, depending on how big you want the buns. Roll each bowl into a 25-30 cm circle and cut into triangles.

Step 3

Fill each triangle with more cheese, seasoning, any type of salami or cold-cut or even chocolate, anything your heart desires, or just leave them empty.

Step 4

Roll each triangle starting from the widest part rolling inward until you reach a croissant-like roll. Brush with the beaten egg and bake the rolls in a lined thin at 190 Degrees Celsius for about 18-20 minutes or until golden brown.
