Fried Halloumi Sticks

- Halloumi cheese 1 pce
- Egg 1 pce
- Flour 50 g
- Fine breadcrumbs 50 g
- Vegetable oil 200 ml
Take the block of halloumi and chop it into thick pieces of sticks.
Take 3 bowls one for flour, one for the egg and 1 for the fine breadcrumbs.
Take a small bowl add in the oil and start heating it on low until you get to batter all the halloumi sticks.
Start battering the halloumi stick by rolling it into flour then in the egg mixture then finally in the breadcrumb mixture.
Check if the oil is hot enough by dropping a piece of eggy breadcrumb mixture, if it pops to the surface its ready.
Fry each side for about 20 seconds or until it turns golden brown. Serve with strawberry or cranberry jam.
