Greek Style Gyro Bowl

- Chicken breast 1 lge
- Minced Garlic 3 oz
- Salt & Pepper 1 tsp
- Olive oil 50 ml
- Home cut chips 3 hfl
- Cucumber 60 g
- Onion 30 g
- Cherry tomato 10 pce
- For the tzatziki sauce - Cucumber 100 g
- Garlic 3 clv
- Greek yoghurt 3 tbs
- Salt 1 pin
- Dill 1 tbs
Start by slicing the chicken breast into medium slices. Place them into a bowl, add the minced garlic, salt, pepper, and olive oil. Let this marinade until you prepare the other components of the meal.
Slice the cucumbers and onion. Wash the tomatoes and leave them as a whole. Preheat the oven for the chips. Lay the chips onto a baking sheet and bake until done. Rotate and turn the chips halfway to ensure even baking.
To make the tzatziki sauce-start by grating the cucumber with the skin using a medium hole-sized box grater. Once it's grated add a good sprinkle of salt and let it sit for a minute. To make the yoghurt base take a small bowl, add in the yoghurt, minced garlic, dill, and salt. Give it a good stir, taste test then squeeze the excess liquid out of the cucumber and add it to the yoghurt base.
Take a non-stick pan add in the marinated chicken and cook for about 10 minutes while stirring every now and then to avoid burning down.
Start the plating by placing the chips at the bottom, sliced vegetables, chicken, tzatziki sauce and you can add hot sauce it's optional but highly recommended.
