  • Onion 1 sm
  • Garlic 2 clv
  • Vegetable oil 2 tbs
  • Canned plum tomatoes 1 can
  • Ketchup 6 tbs
  • Oregano 2 tbs
  • Salt 1 tbs
  • Paprika 1 tbs
  • Spaghetti pasta 200 g
  • Parmesan cheese (optional) 4 tbs
Step 1

Take a large wok add in the vegetable oil along with the finely chopped onion and minced garlic. Fry on low heat for 3 minutes or until it softens a little.

Step 2

Next, you can add in the pork mince. Try to break up the mincemeat using the wooden spoon. Fry until the meat turns white.

Step 3

Next, add in the canned plum tomato. To make it easier take a sharp knife and try to cut the tomatoes as best as possible while it's in the can. Add it to the mince base along with the ketchup and the seasoning. Continue cooking the mix on low heat.

Step 4

Before throwing away the can fill it up halfway with water give it a swirl around and add it to the mince. Continue cooking it for an additional 10 minutes. Cover it to avoid splashing. Stir every 3 minutes to avoid burning. In the meantime cook the pasta according to the packaging. Serve with freshly grated parmesan, optional but highly recommended.
